In today's security and combat environment, there is an urgent need for tools that can effectively neutralize a target without the use of firearms. DBR-1S/1-5 Hand-Held Net Launcher is a precision non-lethal device designed to instantly block live objects and forcefully stop low-flying UAVs. Thanks to an extended configuration of 5 cartridges, this system provides high autonomy and readiness to perform a series of tasks without immediate reloading in the rear.
Expert advantages of the DBR-1S/1-5 model
The DBR-1S series model is designed for rapid response in situations where speed is critical. The main difference between the "1-5" modification is the perfect balance between compactness and increased ammunition capacity. The use of a super-strong nylon net allows you to physically block the target, creating a mechanical barrier that cannot be overcome without a special tool.
- Kinetic efficiency: The net is ejected in a split second, which leaves the target no chance for evasive maneuver.
- Cartridge system: The modular design allows you to replace the spent cartridge with a new one in a matter of seconds, which is extremely important in a dynamic collision.
- Versatility: Effective against both criminals and FPV drones or reconnaissance copters at close range.
- Safety: The non-lethal nature of the action minimizes the risks to others and allows the device to be used in crowded places.

Tactical application scenarios
DBR-1S/1-5 is indispensable in cases where firearms are impractical or prohibited by the rules of engagement:
- Counter-drone countermeasures: Physical interception of Mavic or Autel copters attempting unauthorized surveillance or cargo drop.
- Detention Offenders: Blocking aggressive individuals armed with bladed weapons at a safe distance for the operator.
- Perimeter security: Neutralizing offenders at critical infrastructure facilities where the use of lethal force is limited.
- Work in urban conditions: The ability to stop a target without the risk of ricochets or injury to bystanders.
Expert opinion: The main advantage of the DBR-1S/1-5 kit is the presence of five cartridges. In a real situation, the operator has the right to make a mistake or the ability to neutralize several targets in a row. This makes the 1-5 model the most balanced choice for mobile rapid response teams.
Why should you buy a DBR-1S/1-5 net thrower?
Unlike complex electronic warfare systems, the net thrower does not depend on the frequencies at which the drone operates and does not require electricity for starting. This is an autonomous, easy-to-use and reliable device, providing physical dominance over an object in the near zone.
Frequently asked questions about the DBR-1S/1-5 net launcher
What is the actual working range for this model?
Best efficiency is achieved at a distance of 7-12 meters. The maximum range is up to 15 meters, however, at the limit of the range, the accuracy and reticle opening area may decrease.
How long does it take to prepare for the next shot?
Reloading takes from $30$ to $40\,\text{seconds}$. The process involves replacing the spent container with a new cartridge and installing a fresh CO2 cylinder.
Can this net launcher stop a heavy drone?
Yes, the DBR-1S/1-5 model is powerful enough to neutralize heavy copters like the Matrice. The net reliably blocks the propellers, and the weight of the weights allows for effective entanglement of even powerful propulsion systems.
What is included in the 1-5 model package?
The package includes a launcher, replacement cartridges, cylinders for activation, and a protective case for safe transportation of the equipment.
Is it safe to use to detain people?
The device is non-lethal. However, due to the high speed of the weights, it is prohibited to shoot at the face or from a distance of less than $3–4\,\text{meters}$ to avoid injury.
Is the device sensitive to moisture or wet snow?
The mechanism is resistant to precipitation. However, after use in a humid environment, the device must be dried and the main components must be lubricated to protect it from corrosion.
