In today's combat environment, the effectiveness of an FPV interceptor depends not only on the pilot's skill, but also on the system's technical readiness for reuse. Additional cartridges for the Ptashka Net Launcher system for FPV are a critical consumable that turns your drone into a reusable means of kinetic interception of enemy UAVs. Having a supply of replaceable modules ensures the continuity of combat operations and increases the chances of capturing valuable trophies.
Why do you need a supply of cartridges: Military expediency
When performing missions to intercept enemy Mavics, Autels, and or reconnaissance "wings," the operator must be able to fire multiple shots or quickly prepare the aircraft for a new sortie. Having replaceable cartridges in the unit's ammunition kit solves a number of tactical problems:
- High tempo of operations: The ability to quickly reload the system in the field allows the drone to return to the skies in minutes.
- Cost-effectiveness: The cost of a cartridge is incomparable to the price of an enemy reconnaissance drone. Physical interception allows the enemy UAV to be landed virtually undamaged for intelligence analysis.
- Skill Development: To achieve 100% success, pilots must conduct dozens of training launches at testing ranges.
Specifications and Information
Replaceable cartridges are designed for high-speed operation and vibration resistance typical of racing and tactical FPV platforms.
| Parameter | Value / Description |
|---|---|
| Product Type | Replaceable combat cartridge with an equipped net |
| Compatibility | Net Launcher Ptashka Airborne System for FPV |
| Purpose | Maintaining combat readiness and operability of the system |
| Hull Materials | High-strength, wear-resistant composite polymers |
| Form Factor | Standardized for quick-release system mount |
| Net type | Ultra-strong thread with a high breaking coefficient |
Reliability in extreme conditions
Each cartridge undergoes strict quality control. The success of the entire interception mission depends on the accuracy and speed of net deployment. The use of high-strength and wear-resistant materials guarantees stable operation of the system even in sudden temperature changes and high humidity.
Key advantages of original cartridges:
- Thought-out aerodynamics: The shape of the cartridge does not create unnecessary air resistance, which is extremely important for the maneuverability of the FPV drone during the chase.
- Easy replacement: The design allows The operator can replace the cartridge in tactical gloves in minimal time.
- Propeller Lock Effect: The net parameters are designed to instantly block the target's motors upon contact.
Expert Opinion: Unlike electronic warfare systems, which may be useless against drones on non-standard frequencies or in radio silence mode, the net launcher operates physically. A supply of cartridges makes your unit independent of resource limitations during intensive raids.
Use and Storage
Replacement cartridges are supplied in packaging that protects the launcher and thread from dust and moisture. It is recommended to store them in special pouches on unloading vests or in protective cases together with the UAV.
Recommended supply for effective duty:
- For training purposes: 10-15 units per operator.
- For combat deployment: at least 5 units for each Ptashka system.
Conclusion
Additional cartridges for the Ptashka Netcomet are a guarantee that your interceptor will always be ready for operation. Don't let a shortage of consumables ruin the important mission of clearing the skies. Provide your unit with the necessary modules for complete air dominance.
Frequently Asked Questions about FPV Net Launcher Cartridges
Are these cartridges different from regular infantry cartridges?
Yes, they are made in a lightweight body and have a special packing pattern. This is necessary to ensure the net deploys correctly, despite the powerful airflow from the FPV drone's propellers.
Can I reload the FPV cartridge myself?
This is highly not recommended for aviation missions. In the air, any error in the balance of the weights will cause the net to fail to deploy, and the carrier drone may lose stability due to incorrect recoil.
How does wind affect the net's flight?
Due to its light weight and large surface area, the net is sensitive to crosswinds. It is recommended to shoot from a distance of 4-6 meters or take a slight lead in the direction opposite to the wind.
What is the strength of the net?
The net is made of multifilament nylon. Its strength is sufficient to stop any modern drone. The target motors are more likely to burn out from blockage than to tear the fiber.
What is included in one cartridge kit?
The cartridge is supplied as a ready-made solution: a sealed container, a laid net, a system of weights, and a protective cover. The initiation system (cylinder or electric trigger) is usually part of the launcher.
Can cartridges be stored on a drone for a long time?
The cartridges are sealed, but when storing them outside the case for a long time (more than a week), it is better to remove them to prevent oxidation of the electric trigger contacts in high humidity conditions.
