Cavel WL-400 Coaxial Cable (50 Ohm): Professional Low Loss Solution (cut)
In modern warfare, where distance and signal purity determine the success of the mission, cable quality becomes a critical factor. Cavel WL-400 is a premium coaxial cable from a legendary Italian manufacturer. Thanks to its ultra-low attenuation, it is the benchmark for communication systems, UAV control and EW/SIGINT systems, where standard RG-58 or RG-8 cables no longer cope.
Why is the Cavel WL-400 the choice for tactical tasks?
The main problem when installing antennas is the loss of signal power in the cable itself. WL-400 minimizes these losses by using high-quality gas-foamed dielectric and ideal conductor geometry. While conventional RG-58 "eats" The WL-400 delivers a useful signal within the first few meters, delivering it to the antenna with maximum efficiency.
- Minimal attenuation (Ultra Low Loss): Allows long antenna extensions (up to 20-30 meters) without critical loss of receiver sensitivity or transmitter power.
- Stable impedance of 50 Ohms: Ensures ideal matching with military radio stations, amplifiers, and antennas, eliminating equipment overheating due to high SWR.
- Excellent interference protection: Dense double shielding protects the communication channel from external interference in conditions of dense operation of electronic warfare equipment.
- Italian reliability: Unlike budget analogs, Cavel guarantees compliance with characteristics at every meter of cable.
Technical specifications of Cavel cable WL-400
The cable has an optimal balance between flexibility and strength, which makes it convenient for rapid deployment in the field.

Operation in extreme conditions
Cavel WL-400 is designed specifically for outdoor use. Its outer shell is not afraid of direct sunlight, temperature changes and high humidity. This makes it indispensable for:
- Stationary antenna posts: Durability without degradation of characteristics for years.
- Mobile groups UAVs: Possibility of quick deployment of remote antennas on masts.
- Repeaters: Guaranteed stable communication at critical nodes.
Important information: We sell cable by the meter. This allows you to order exactly the length required for a specific task, without overpaying for extra meters or creating unnecessary connections, which also increase signal loss.
Conclusion: Reliable communication starts with cable
Cavel WL-400 is not just a “wire”, it is a high-tech component of your communication system. By choosing an original Italian cable, you can be sure that the signal will be delivered without distortion, and the equipment will last a long time even in the harshest conditions.
FAQ: Questions and Answers about Cavel Cable WL-400 (by the meter)
1. Why choose the Cavel brand for FPV systems?
Cavel is Italian quality and precision. The cable is made of pure copper, which guarantees a stable resistance of 50 Ohm. Unlike cheaper analogs, Cavel produces less interference and lasts significantly longer in harsh conditions.
2. The main technical characteristics of the WL-400?
This is a Low Loss cable with double shielding (foil + braid). The diameter of $10\,\text{mm}$ allows signal transmission over long distances with minimal attenuation even at frequencies of $2.4\,\text{GHz}$ and $5.8\,\text{GHz}$.
3. What is the advantage of buying "by the meter"?
You get exactly the amount of cable you need for your application, without overpaying for extra meters that create unnecessary resistance and get underfoot.
4. Is the cable suitable for outdoor use?
Yes, the polyethylene (PE) jacket is resistant to UV and frost. The cable is ideal for fixed antenna posts operating in any weather.
5. What connectors should I use?
The WL-400 accepts N-type or SMA/QMA connectors designed for 400 series cables ($10\,\text{mm}$). High-quality crimping - guarantees no loss at the joints.
6. How flexible is the cable?
The cable is quite rigid due to its diameter. It is not designed for constant bending, but is ideal as the main "highway" from the operator to the antenna.
