In modern combat, the stability of radio communications and the effectiveness of electronic warfare systems directly depend on the quality of antenna and feeder equipment. Collinear Spring Antenna 830-940 MHz is a highly durable solution, specially designed for installation on vehicles, armored vehicles, and mobile platforms. Optimized for operation in the hottest drone control frequency range, this antenna provides maximum signal gain and survivability in the harshest conditions.
Key advantages of the collinear 830-940 MHz antenna
The 830-940 MHz band is critical, as it is where most modern UAV control protocols (ELRS, Crossfire) and telemetry operate. This antenna allows you to significantly extend the range of your communication systems or create a dense dome of protection from enemy FPV drones.
- Shock endurance (Spring-mount): A powerful steel spring at the base of the antenna acts as a damper. When colliding with tree branches, camouflage nets or building structures while the vehicle is moving, the antenna simply deflects and instantly returns to the vertical position, preventing damage to the emitter.
- High gain (6±1 dBi): Narrow vertical beamwidth (17°) allows all transmitter power to be concentrated along the horizon, which significantly increases the distance of effective signal suppression or reception.
- Full circular coverage (360°): The horizontal radiation pattern provides uniform protection or communication in all directions without "dead zones".
- Professional connector: The use of an N-Male connector ensures a tight connection and minimal RF energy loss.
Technical and tactical characteristics (Performance characteristics)
This model combines high throughput and a stable standing wave ratio (SWR), which is critical for protecting expensive electronic warfare equipment from overheating.

Combat Applications:
- Car and Pickup Truck Protection: Mounting the Antenna on roof or trunk allows for effective operation as part of dome-type vehicle electronic warfare systems.
- Mobile communication nodes: Ensuring stable data transmission at the tactical level at frequencies of 868/915 MHz.
- Repeater amplification: Can be used as an external antenna to increase the flight range of your own reconnaissance drones.
Expert advice: To achieve the best SWR and range, it is recommended to mount the antenna at the highest point of the vehicle. Make sure that the base of the antenna has reliable contact with the vehicle ground (metal body), and there are no metal obstacles within a radius of 30-50 cm around the antenna web.
Why choose this model?
Unlike cheap analogs, this collinear antenna has stable characteristics in The entire specified range of 830-940 MHz. The spring mechanism is made of high-quality steel, which does not lose elasticity after repeated deformations. The N-type connector ensures a reliable connection even in the severe vibration conditions of an armored vehicle or SUV.
Conclusion: Maximizing the effectiveness of your electronic warfare
The 830-940 MHz collinear spring antenna is a tool for those who do not compromise on security and communications. It provides the necessary advantage in the air, allowing your equipment to operate at 100% power.
Tactical FAQ: Six questions about the 900 MHz collinear antenna
Why is the 830-940 MHz band considered basic?
It is the "main highway" of drone control. The most popular protocols ELRS (868 MHz) and TBS Crossfire (915 MHz) work here. The narrow specialization of the antenna allows your electronic warfare to operate at peak capabilities, covering 80% of threats from standard kamikazes.
What is the secret of the collinear design?
Unlike a conventional antenna, a collinear antenna "compresses" radio waves vertically and expands them horizontally. It works like a powerful searchlight, shining along the ground at 360 degrees. This provides a high gain and increases the range of drone suppression.
Why is a spring needed at the base of the antenna?
The spring is This is protection against breakage when driving through tree branches or camouflage nets. It allows the antenna to bend up to 90 degrees and instantly return to a vertical position. This is critical to maintaining protection during fast off-road driving.
Installation rules on a car?
The antenna should be located in the center of the metal roof. The roof serves as a reflective screen that amplifies the signal. Avoid "radio shadows" from trunks or spare wheels. The higher the antenna is raised, the sooner it will "notice" and neutralizes the drone.
Impact on mobile communications and Starlink?
The range coincides with GSM-900, so mobile calls in the cabin may be interrupted. But Starlink and Wi-Fi operate in a different spectrum, so the internet connection under the dome will remain stable for coordination or studying.
Is vertical installation critical?
Yes, it is a question of polarization. If the antenna is tilted too much, the quality of "jamming" decreases. Thanks to a spring and a powerful magnet, the antenna remains vertical even at speed, providing a reliable protective dome.
