ZVOOK NW0 Ethernet is a tactical acoustic sensor developed by a team of active-duty military personnel and IT engineers to detect enemy FPV drones, including fiber-optic drones, by the sound of their operation.
The device is equipped with artificial intelligence that continuously analyzes the acoustic environment and instantly responds to the appearance of an aerial threat. The detection range is 150–450 meters, while the device provides 360-degree coverage.
When a target is detected, the sensor:
- activates an audible alert (optional);
- transmits data to ZVOOK UI — a convenient interface for monitoring dozens or hundreds of sensors on an interactive map in real time.
The sensor has a high level of protection against dust, water, and mechanical impact (IP67), allowing it to be used in challenging combat and weather conditions. The system supports remote firmware updates, enabling the device to be continuously improved based on new types of threats.
To operate the sensor, it must be connected to a power source and an Ethernet network. The sensor is supplied as a complete kit; after receiving it, it only needs to be assembled and connected. The sensor's power consumption is 15 W.
A full-scale network can be built using acoustic sensors to protect the line of contact, frontline cities, or logistics routes. Depending on combat conditions and terrain complexity, the network can be built using fiber optics, twisted pair, LTE, or a LoRa radio channel.
For building a reliable network, the recommended distance between sensors is 400–600 meters.
The system consists of a control unit measuring 20 × 30 × 10 cm and a microphone.
The device can be integrated into electronic warfare systems and fiber-optic «concertina wire» winding systems for automatic launch initiation when an FPV drone is detected.
Operates across a wide voltage range:
- 220 AC;
- 12 V, 24 V, 48 V DC;
- integration with solar panels is possible for complete autonomy;
- with Zvook Power Box.
